Lifting our voices in praise

Worship & Music

Our worship ministry brings the congregation together each Sunday through music, prayer, and the proclamation of God's word. Our choir and praise team draw from a rich tradition of hymns and contemporary worship, creating a service that is both reverent and alive. Whether you sing, play an instrument, or simply love to worship, we invite you to be part of this ministry.

Sunday choir rehearsal: Thursdays at 7:00 PM

Community Outreach

We believe faith without action is incomplete. Our outreach ministry serves the Washburn community through a local food pantry, seasonal clothing drives, and partnerships with area nonprofits. We also participate in regional United Methodist mission projects, extending our reach beyond our small town to serve those in greatest need.

Food pantry: open Tuesdays 10 AM – 12 PM
Clothing drive: twice yearly (spring & fall)
Volunteer opportunities available year-round

Nurturing the next generation

Youth & Children

From the youngest children to high school students, our youth and children's ministry creates a safe, joyful, and faith-filled environment for kids to grow. Sunday School meets weekly before worship, and our youth group gathers for fellowship, service projects, and faith formation throughout the year.

Sunday School: Sundays at 9:00 AM (all ages)
Youth group: Sundays at 5:00 PM (grades 6–12)
Vacation Bible School each summer

Small Groups & Bible Study

Our small groups and Bible study gatherings are where friendships are formed and faith is deepened. We offer a Wednesday evening study for adults, as well as seasonal small groups that meet in homes throughout the community. These intimate settings allow for honest conversation, prayer, and mutual encouragement.

Interceding for our community

Prayer Ministry

Prayer is the foundation of everything we do. Our prayer ministry team gathers weekly to lift up the needs of our congregation and community. We also maintain a prayer chain for urgent needs and offer pastoral prayer at every worship service. If you have a prayer request, we would be honored to pray with you.

Prayer team meets: Mondays at 8:00 AM
Prayer requests accepted anytime at the church office
Pastoral prayer available after each service

Honoring our elders, building community

Senior Fellowship

Our senior fellowship ministry provides connection, care, and joy for the older members of our congregation and community. Monthly luncheons, day trips, and regular visitation ensure that no one feels forgotten or alone. We celebrate the wisdom and faithfulness of our senior members as a vital part of our church family.

Monthly luncheon: first Thursday of each month
Visitation ministry for homebound members
Day trips and seasonal outings throughout the year
